Stirixis is a Volunteer group based in Athens Greece helping impoverished families with multiple children living in poverty, as indicated by the Reception & Solidarity Center of the Municipality of Athens (Κ.Υ.Α.Δ.Α.).

The team of volunteers regularly and systematically visit these families 5-6 times a year, providing them with essential items such as food (both dry and fresh), household cleaning products, new clothing, toys, books, etc. Establishing a personal contact with these families allows for a better understanding of their daily challenges and seek solutions whenever possible.

Simultaneously, medical, psychological, and dental support is being arranged for these families with the assistance of volunteer doctors, as well as Speech therapy and in-home tutoring.
